I can honestly say that these guys have restored my faith in jam bands, and moreso have restored my faith in 21st Century Rock Music!! After that lead burst during album opener ''Violence of the Red Sea,'' he bends a theme a half-dozen different ways, whether retracing his lead with a wah-wah moan here or a whammy bar battle with himself there. You can kind of tell from the album cover what kind of music these guys play. Stone grooves that make you wanna be 20 again! Earthless are in my opinion, San Diego's best current local band, I've never, however, seen them live, I've only met the bassist once, so I can't say whether their live performances are better than their studio release.
